We are so excited to be participating in the Coats for Kids drive this year! This will allow us to give back to the Austin community by providing a helping hand by acquiring coats for the program. The drive will finish on December 8, 2018, with the 32nd annual Coats for Kids Distribution Day. The program will help provide over 35,000 warm winter coats to Central Texas children. The event will help allow each child in need to choose a coat of their own liking for the upcoming winter.
What is Coats for Kids?
The mission behind Coats for Kids is to help prepare children in need for the upcoming winter. The Junior League of Austin organized the program and enlisted over 2,000 volunteers. Among the participating are local groups, schools, and business including us! Our intent is to help provide as much help as possible to children in need for this coming winter. Distribution Day marks the final step of the drive with any remaining coats going to other local agencies assisting children in need.
How can you help?
Bryant Electric Service will begin acquiring coats for donation starting November 12th. The drive will conclude on Distribution Day. If interested, you can give your donation to your electrician during your appointment! Coats collected between November 12th and December 27th will help fulfill our mission.
